Cocoa  - the story

Cocoa Couture was established in Cheltenham in 1970 designing beautiful, individual wedding gowns. In 1990 trained fashion designer Cara Wagstaff took over the business and her love for antique textiles as well as her understanding of modern couture transformed Cocoa into a unique French inspired boutique that has attracted ladies from all over the world including celebrities and royalty! More information on wedding gowns can be found at www.cocoacouture.co.uk

Cocoa Treasures

Cara’s love of antique artworks, tapestries and fabrics from the 17th, 18th and 19th c has led her to expand out from wedding gowns and develop her own range of individual fabrics and silks to create unique scarves, lingerie and accessories - The Cocoa Treasures Collection.

All the designs are printed locally in the Cotswolds on pure silks or other fabrics and hand finished by herself and team of seamstresses, giving the option to add embellishments or jewellery to make them truly unique if required. Her designs are based on images from her own collection of artworks but she is happy to take commissions if you have your own artwork, such as family monograms, coat of arms, family crests etc. Please contact Cara if you would like further information on commisions.
